very catchy on this authentic sounding chart
on the rock classic made famous by the group
Chicago. Master arranger Mike Story works his
magic to create an accessible, fun-to-play jazz
ensemble chart. Everything you need is written
out, including brief solos for trumpet 1, trombone
1 and optional guitar. With easy brass ranges, it's
easy to rehearse and play, but still a hard-driving
chart. Very nice! Optional reduced or expanded

Here's a wonderful take on the group Toto's
classic rock tune from the '80s. It's solidly
scored throughout and sounds amazingly like the
original while remaining accessible for developing
jazz bands. With nice dynamic contrasts, an
uncomplicated melodic line, and a medium rock
groove, this chart is one that younger players
can really dig into, yet it will sound mature when
performed by a more advanced group. More
features include: half-note tempo of 90 bpm;
written or ad lib solos for alto sax 1 and trombone
1; trumpet 1 range to written G on top of the staff;
and optional parts for flute, clarinet and vibes.

This one's a New Orleans-style chart that will
have the bayou bouncing! It's an ideal opener
and a great way for young jazzers to learn
about the groove. The features include flexible

players are needed in addition to the rhythm
section. Highly recommended!

Just listen to this chart and you know you have
to have it as Victor Lopez brings the original
Weather Report version to life for jazz ensembles.
All the ingredients are here, plus solo space

trumpet top note is only a written G on top of
the staff. Very easy to assemble and perform,

released in 1967, Joe Zawinul's quintessential
jazz fusion standard has been recorded by
countless artists through the years. This chart
is a slightly truncated version for young players
that still retains the dynamic feel and sound of
the original. Ideal for young players, it's scored
for standard jazz ensemble with no solos but
is playable with optional reduced or expanded
instrumentations. Always a favorite and highly
recommended!
