Go to cart Aia la 'o Pele i Hawai'i—Jace Kaholokulu Saplan. Based on a traditional Hawaiian chant with original music, this rousing work for advanced treble choirs brings all the drama of a volcanic eruption normally associated with destruction. But in Hawaiian culture, Pele - the goddess of volcanos and fire - also evokes awe and veneration. Layered ostinato patterns and dramatic divisi harmonies, along with the use of the Ipu, a Hawaiian percussion instrument, create an exciting experience! 11415495 SSAA divisi . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 3.00 Algo Me Dicen Tus Ojos—Rosephanye Powell. This first piece in the suite Three Spanish Songs is a darkly romantic setting of its lyrics: "Your eyes are saying something to me, but what they are saying I do not know." 11398738 TTBB. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 2.30 11398741 La Cancion Del Camino - TTBB. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 2.30 11398746 Solidaridad - TTBB . . . . . . . . . 2.30 Canntaireachd—Paul Ely Smith. Made popular in performances by the famous choral ensemble Chanticleer, this music is original although its connection to Scottish Celtic music is undeniable and quite intentional. In this arrangement, the IPA pronunciation guide is included in the body of the music in order to make it accessible to all singers and choirs.
