of Christ's life. Meter changes dictate the
level, as there are few bell changes. Consider
programming this piece as it is beautiful,
musical, and magical.

setting of the Huron Carol will take some work,

is an amazingly creative and exciting setting of
the Ukrainian folk tune Shchedryk which will be
a fun challenge for your advanced group. The
repetitive ostinato four-note pattern is present
throughout, but there are unexpected variations
that are sure to excite the audience and keep
the musicians focused on the changing rhythmic
patterns. At tempo, this could be a Level 5;
however, reducing the tempo a few clicks should
make it accessible to solid Level 4 groups. This
is a must-have for your holiday repertoire!
