MADRIGALS
Madrigals
All Star (as an English Madrigal)—Greg Camp/
arr. Nathan Howe. This arrangement turns the
1999 Smash Mouth hit into an English madrigal.
Using wonderful harmonic progressions and a
tune that most will recognize from the "Shrek"
movies, this a cappella piece is a fun way to
introduce the genre to young singers and a
novel change of pace for more experienced
singers. Very clever!

Can Cala Me—arr. Steve Parsons. This
traditional Cornish May Day song sings like a
madrigal in this pristine a cappella arrangement.
The quick tempo allows for a light and energetic
style of singing which is briefly contrasted in the
fourth verse with a slower triple feel. Ideal for
spring concerts or festivals!
