Multicultural Instruments Jeopardy—
Abigail Mettry. Introduce your students to
world instruments! Instrument performances
are embedded within the slides, and the
scoreboard automatically updates as students
earn points for identifying which instrument
they hear. Students choose from one of the
categories (Japan, Africa, China, Spain, India),
then listen to an audio performance. If they
answer correctly, a 'cheering' sound effect
plays, and a funny 'blooper' sound effect if
they are not! There is also an option to play
a video of that particular instrument in a live
performance, or wait until the end of the game,
and then watch all the performances!

methodologies including Orff, Kodaly,
Dalcroze, and Suzuki, and incorporate a wide range of learning styles and
interests. This set can be used as a stand-alone curriculum - there is enough
