Millions of musicians have been thrilled by performances of this exceptional masterwork. However, you may be surprised to find out that the edition that we had all performed years ago was far from what Faure originally conceived. After completing considerable research into the original composition and into Faure's writings about the work, John Rutter created this edition which has eclipsed all others as the standard of performance for this masterpiece. 1537414 SATB Choral Score . . .M 12.99 4816013 Full Score . . . . . . . . . . . . .170.99 10649554 Instrumental Parts Strings . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .102.99 10649555 Instrumental Parts Winds & Timpani. . . . . . . . .77.99 4791117 Instrumental Parts Harp . . .18.25 Requiem—Kim Andre Arnesen. This work received its American premiere in April 2015 by the Opus Chorale of West Virginia, conducted by David F. Donathan. This version was updated by the composer in 2018. Not dedicated to any particular person or group, this work was written with the aim of providing solace to people who are in pain and grieving or to assist in a moment of remembrance and honoring. 10999679 SATB Choral Score . . .M 19.95 11175987 TTBB Choral Score . . .M 19.95 10999680 Instrumental Parts for SATB Version . . . . . . .185.00 11175989 Instrumental Parts for TTBB Version . . . . . . .185.00 Requiem—W.A. This work was designed not only to live well in the concert hall, but also to transition into the church sanctuary. The composer's trademark cinematic moments, soaring choral melodies, and impressionistic chord structures will highlight the vulnerable humanity that has become synonymous with her writings. This work is a combination of traditional Latin and English, with references to Scripture and hymn texts. Commissioned in honor of those lost during COVID, Requiem was written to bring hope and healing to all who have experienced loss. It is accompanied by full orchestra or chamber orchestra, includes soprano and tenor soloists, and is approximately 35 minutes in length. 11516342 SATB Choral Score . . . .M 9.95 11516204E Orchestration ePrint . . . . .532.40 11535637E Instrumental Parts Chamber Orchestra ePrint . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .316.30 Requiem—Michael John Trotta. Requiem is a powerfully appealing, tender exploration of love and loss. Grounded in tradition while incorporating a present-day harmonic language, two Gregorian chant motives are interwoven throughout the lush harmonies and soaring melodies. The level of difficulty is within the reach of many choirs and most orchestral players, making it an attractive choice for church or concert hall. A new translation of the traditional text makes it possible to perform the work entirely in English or entirely in Latin. Whether your choir sings a major work twice a year or is looking to try a multimovement work for the first time, this is an excellent choice. The work has a flexible duration (28- 40 min.) depending on the inclusion of the optional solo and/or a cappella movements. Accomampaniment may be piano or organ only, organ and winds, or chamber orchestra. 11515255 SATB Choral Score . . .M 15.95 11515256 Full Score Chamber Orchestra . . . . .250.00 11515257 Orchestration Chamber Orchestra . . . . .395.00 11515258 Instrumental Parts Organ Accompaniment . . .39.99 Requiem for the Living—Dan Forrest. A significant setting of the Requiem, scored for mixed choir and orchestra with solos for boy soprano (mezzo-soprano) and tenor. Combining both liturgical and non- liturgical texts, this powerful five-movement work projects a wide range of meaningful expression, from a biting essay on the vanity and pain of existence, to a plea for mercy, and finally a celebration of eternal light. Full orchestra and chamber orchestra accompaniments are available on rental from the publisher. Duration: 43 minutes. 10384178 SATB Choral Score . Drama, emotion, and exquisite compositional technique are woven into a masterpiece for our time. The choir, singing the traditional Latin texts, represents the God-fearing congregation in mourning, while the soloist, singing new English texts by Charles Anthony Silvestri, answers as one beyond the veil sending back words of comfort and hope. Highly melodic and incredibly moving, this setting of the Latin Requiem offers a new perspective on grief and loss. Available for choir, organ, percussion, and soloist or for choir and full orchestra. 11514321 SATB Vocal Score Orchestra Version. . . Singers travel through Norway in this multimovement work, each movement representing a new geographic location in the composer's homeland. Both the poem and the expressive choral writing capture the beauty and wonder of the natural world, and choirs will enjoy every step of the journey. Set for divisi choir with piano, harp, and strings, it is a lush and harmonically rich exploration of nature with texts by Charles Anthony Silvestri. 11567971 SATB Choral Score divisi . . . . . . . . . . .M 9.95 11567972 Full Score . . . . . . . . . . . . . .45.00 11567973 Instrumental Parts Piano, Harp, Strings . . . . .100.00 The Sacred Veil—Eric Whitacre. Written with poet Charles Anthony Silvestri, this twelve-movement work chronicles the rich life of Tony and his late wife Julie Silvestri and their journey through cancer. Hauntingly beautiful and expressive, this work contains a cappella movements as well as movements accompanied by piano and cello. The development of the story is expressed through repeated motives and tone painting of the text. Commissioned, premiered, and recorded by the Los Angeles Master Chorale, this memorable tribute is rich in texture, emotion, and beauty. 11312301 SATB Choral Score divisi . . . . . . . . . .M 16.95 11312304 Instrumental Parts Cello . . .10.00 11312305 Instrumental Parts Piano for Mvt. 4 only . . . . . . . 4.99 11335654 CD . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .16.98 Songs My Heart Has Taught Me—Bob Chilcott. Bring singers and audience together in a celebration of all that unites us! 11335265 SATB Vocal Score . . . .M 13.50 11415035 SSA Vocal Score . . . . .M 12.99 Sunrise Mass—Ola Gjeilo. This spiritually- uplifting extended work, neither expressly sacred nor secular, uses ancient texts even though the titles of the movements are in English: I. The Spheres (Kyrie); II. Sunrise (Gloria); III. The City (Credo); IV. Identity & The Ground (Sanctus). The four movements develop from a sense of the cosmos to an affirmation of the earth, from the echo of The Spheres in the first movement to the final reassuring themes of Identity & The Ground. A beautiful work for advanced high school choirs and beyond. 10304081 SSAATTBB Choral Score . . . . . . . .
