Monday. This movement of the famous
"Organ Symphony" includes two of the most
memorable themes ever penned by Saint-
Saens. This arrangement includes the highly
energetic string theme and the beautiful fugue
based on his four-note theme which cycles
throughout the entire symphony. The two
contrasting sections of this arrangement offer
two extremes of bowing style: one requiring
heavy strokes at the frog and the other using
legato, expressive, full bowing.

Apocalyptic (Finale from Symphony No. 8)

power and force of the Finale of Bruckner's
Eighth Symphony is masterfully captured in

articulations, students will need assistance
with the bow stroke in order to perform this

Capriccio Espagnol—Nikolai Rimsky-

resetting for string orchestra has successfully
kept the composer's intent, and to a great

by able high school groups. It consists of five
connected movements based on Spanish

in 1814 to open Beethoven's only opera by the
