This multicultural-flavored work with a disco flair is based on the chord progression to Over the Rainbow to symbolize that every young person can "fly." Its mood is uplifting and triumphant, offering a rhythmic groove to motivate players and listeners alike to move and dance. An absolutely original sound that you won't hear anywhere else! 11583380 Band Set & Score . . . . . 80.00 Ready Set Go—Katahj Copley. A depiction of training and mastering one's craft to reach a goal. The piece keeps a steady and intense pace while involving challenging grooves and colors like the structure of a training regimen. A beautiful orchestral piece takes us through a scene as the sun rises upon the tundra. The gorgeous melody transports the audience and musicians. 11580701 Band Set & Score . . . . . 70.00 Salon Morisot: Majesty—Jodie Blackshaw. The first movement of a suite of three miniatures inspired by the remarkable artistry of little known female French impressionist artist Berthe Morisot (1841– 1895). Morisot was highly admired by her fellow Impressionist colleagues and her works were exhibited in the very first (and many consequential) Impressionist 'Salon' of 1874 (a Salon being an exhibition). A perfect concert opener. 11617630 Band Set & Score . . . . . 49.00 The Second Shaman—Roland Barrett. Opening with a dramatic combination of solo trumpet and powerfully emphatic percussion statements, this features a driving A section, a beautifully lyrical middle section, and a thrilling and affirming closing passage, complete with a climactic return of the introduction's powerful percussion declarations. This educational and entertaining piece offers wonderful teaching opportunities for your ensemble. (5:30) 11616406 Band Set & Score . . . . . 80.00 The Skytrain Icarus—Pixel. All aboard the Skytrain! Gentle syncopation and optimistic tones abound in this work inspired by Amelia Earhart's lasting impact on our world. 11623146 Band Set & Score . . . . . 80.00 Soldier's Poem from World War I—Jack Stamp. The spirit of adventure is accurately portrayed in this Grade 3 tour de force. It has all the elements players and conductors love: excitement, bold sounds, and interesting harmonies; yet, it avoids the pitfalls that so often lead to failure: rapidly changing and asymmetric rhythms, phrases too long for the students to navigate, and intricate articulations. 11624537 Band Set & Score . . . . . 65.00 Sunbloom—Gavin Lendt. Capture the energy and optimism of a new day in a fast- paced and uplifting Grade 3 work inspired by the motion and momentum of a runner's journey. From the quiet spark of dawn to the adrenaline of the starting line and the final push toward the finish, this piece pulses with drive and determination. Light pops flair, joyful themes, and rhythmic vitality combine with moments of lush, expressive scoring to create a work that radiates warmth and spirit. Ideal for concert or festival performance, this celebrates energy, motion, and the joy of forward momentum. 11622928 Band Set & Score . . . . . 80.00 Super Nova (Music for an Imaginary Video Game)—Andrew Boysen Jr. Help our superhero Nova save the galaxy from the evil tyrant Gamma Ray! Here's exciting music for all of Nova's adventures through the Storm Sphere; Land of Mystic Mirrors; Puffy Prairie and Boss Battle. Nova's Theme is enhanced by synthesized sounds played live on an iPad using GarageBand or a similar device. Alternatively, prerecorded sounds may also be used. All sounds, including a GarageBand file and MP3s, are available for download from the publisher. 11618993 Band Set & Score . . . . . 90.00 Supernova—Thierry Deleruyelle. This energetic piece in a pop style inspires joy and good humor. Its rhythm give it an exceptionally lively and festive character with themes of renewal, rebirth, and solidarity. 11609531 Band Set & Score . . . . 110.00 Sway—Ed Windels. Sway began life as the second movement of my Incidentally Music for flute, clarinet, guitar, violin and cello, premiered in 2010. That piece was an exploration of dance or dance-like forms of Latin heritage. Sway is not a specific dance form, but generally inspired by the genre. During the early spring of 2022, it occurred to me that it would translate well to concert band, allowing me to explore coloristic possibilities and add some extra rhythmic interest to the main melody. 11605324 Band Set & Score . . . . 100.00 Symphonic Mountain Fantasy (for Concert Band)—Trenton Rhodes. The genesis for Symphonic Mountain Fantasy was the idea of writing a piece with a smaller reduced instrumentation but at a higher grade level. The result is a work that is derived mainly from a singular melody presented in the beginning, taking it to completely different places and tonalities throughout the entirety of the work. The melody rises and falls in ways that resemble mountainous terrain far in the distance, which is where the title originates from. This piece was chosen as the winner of the 2025 Association of Concert Bands/John Phillip Sousa Foundation Composition Contest. – Trenton Rhodes, 2025 11628023 Band Set & Score . . . . . 60.00 The Eagle's Quest—Philip Sparke. Commissioned to mark the 400th anniversary of the birth of Cort Adeler, a renowned Norwegian-Dutch sailor, naval captain, and later a vice admiral. His Dutch name Adelaer means "eagle." This work celebrates his life but is not programmatic, simply reflecting the town of Brevik's pride in one of its most famous sons. Toward the end of the piece there is a brief quotation from the town song Brevikssangen for a fitting and captivating conclusion. 11608049 Band Set & Score . . . . 136.00 The Saint of the Forest—Thomas Doss. Whenever hikers got lost in the fog at the 'Steinernen Steg' in Burgebrach in the gloomy autumn and winter time, Ursula von Windeck would appear in a white robe to show them the way, standing still for a while and eventually disappearing in tears. It was only when lost girl thanked her for her help that Ursula was redeemed from her curse and found peace. The girl had a shrine for Ursula erected at the site of her rescue. 11609536 Band Set & Score . . . . 170.00 Tirelessly through the Night...—William Owens. William Owens' powerful, programmatic work, Tirelessly through the Night..., is a musical depiction of the explosion that ravaged a small Texas community. Beginning softly and hauntingly, the "Foreboding" gradually intensifies as the destructive "Crisis" chaos ensues. The "Aftermath" and "Regenesis" segments offer hope and reassurance in the wake of tragedy. Serious music for serious ensembles! (4:00) 11616405 Band Set & Score . . . . . 80.00
