Four short movements make up this "petite symphony" constructed in the same form as the elements of a traditional symphony: Allegro non troppo; Largo; Scherzo and Allegro vivace. Each movement also refers to an element of nature. Movement 1, Air, is light and breathy, made up mostly of staccato notes. Water, the second movement, ripples and flows softly and gently. An homage to Holst's The Planets can be heard in Earth, the third movement. The piece concludes in an intense inferno with Fire. A powerful and cleverly composed piece! 10091937 Band Set & Score . . M 120.00 Embers of the Ancient Realms—Michele Fernandez. Take your audience on a thrilling adventure. The exotic sounds of the harmonic and double harmonic minor scales along with syncopated and sixteenth- note rhythms, great percussion scoring, and dramatic melodies will make this the highlight of your next concert program. 11617929 Band Set & Score . . . M 75.00 Enthusiastic (A piece of flourishing music) —Hermann Pallhuber. A celebratory hymn- like piece for intermediate concert band conveys a sense of grandeur, excitement, and beauty, enriched with dynamic crescendos, lively rhythms, lush harmonies, and tonal colors. The piece opens in the style of a hymn-like march, transitioning into a noble melody characterized by soft sonorous tones. A gradual intensification of the musical palette leads back to the initial theme before all elements converge in a powerful and memorable finale. 11683948 Band Set & Score . . M 153.00 Entranced—Raymond Sifuentes. Flamenco-inspired rhythms and harmonies shape this bold Grade 3 concert band work that feels dramatic yet firmly rooted in traditional concert writing. Layered duple and triple rhythmic figures, frequent accidentals, and an active castanet part sharpen rhythmic precision and stylistic awareness. Contrasting intensity and reflection give the music emotional depth, creating a compelling choice for high school groups ready to explore rhythmic complexity and color while maintaining a mature concert sound. 11680806 Band Set & Score . . . M 85.00 Evergreen—Viet Cuong. After years of reflection on the loss of a father, this wistful yet exuberant work is a tribute to the constants in our lives, the steadfast forces from which we draw love, energy, and resilience. In this sense, it serves as a companion piece or foil to Deciduous, written while the pain was still fresh. While loss may lead us to initially fixate on what is gone, remembering what remains - what has always been there, and what will continue to be - helps us move forward. 11605334 Band Set & Score . . M 250.00 Everlight—Randall Standridge. Heartfelt and sophisticated, this work is inspired by the fleeting yet meaningful connections between teachers and students. Set in a fast and steady 4/4, the piece unfolds at a single tempo, alternating between rhythmic motifs and soaring melodic lines that pass fluidly through the ensemble. Rich harmonies, orchestral textures, and colorful scoring lend a cinematic elegance, making it both musically rewarding and emotionally resonant. Suitable for high school and university ensembles, this stands as a tribute to the light we bring into each other's lives - briefly shared but long remembered. 11622904 Band Set & Score . . . M 90.00 Fandango—Carol Brittin Chambers. This fiery stylistic work for concert band has plenty of rhythmic charm infused with the energy of the Lone Star State! M 85.00 Fantasia on "Barbara Allen"—Traditional/ arr. Gene Milford. Slow, expressive writing frames this medium-level concert band setting of a well-known folk song, beginning with an exposed euphonium solo that passes naturally into an alto voice. The transparent scoring highlights solos and ensemble balance throughout. A thoughtful choice for high school band to emphasize tone, phrasing, and expressive transformation in a lyrical concert work. 11684421 Band Set & Score . . . M 60.00 Farewell—Adam Smetana. A reflective concert work explores the act of saying goodbye with warmth and gratitude. Intimate, chamber-like passages give way to broad symphonic climaxes, tracing an emotional journey through memory, farewell, and release. The music balances tenderness and expansiveness, offering an affectionate look back while gently letting go. A strong choice for teaching expression, balance, and blend to developing band students. 11683944 Band Set & Score . . M 117.00 A Festival Prelude—Alfred Reed. With the music built entirely from one main theme and two fanfare-like figures that occur throughout, this is a very widely accepted contest/festival work. 81901 Band Set & Score . . . M 95.00 Festivo—Vaclav Nelhybel. Within each grade level of serious concert band literature there are certain works that stand above the rest. Festivo is certainly such a work and demands a place in your library. 81992 Band Set & Score . . . M 85.00 Fight or Flight—Ryan Fillinger. Constant tension and release shape this band work that opens with slow, dramatic weight before surging into fast passages driven by relentless eighth notes. Heavy use of accidentals creates striking, cinematic harmonies while frequent shifts in character keep the music in motion. The high-stakes energy and evolving textures make it an effective closer with plenty to teach at the high school level. 11677906 Band Set & Score . . . M 95.00 Finale from Symphony No. 2—Gustav Mahler/arr. Josh Trentadue. Power and reverence shape this medium-level concert band arrangement of the final moments from Mahler's Second Symphony. Expansive chorale writing preserves much of the original's complexity and weight, creating a sense of arrival and resonance. The density demands strong control and focus from the ensemble. A valuable concert option, it's a faithful adaptation of a cornerstone of orchestral literature. 11680216 Band Set & Score . . . M 75.00 Fire Within—Carol Brittin Chambers. Cinematic adventure shapes this exciting band work that opens slowly and dramatically before launching into fast, driving motion. A lyrical middle section features an expressive flute solo that builds toward a powerful climax. Unique percussion color includes creative sound effects using a crinkled plastic water bottle to suggest fire. Rhythmic energy and varied textures make it an exciting closer for high school concert or festival programs. 11677827 Band Set & Score . . . M 80.00 Five Alarm Fire—Joseph Benjamin Earp. Driving and intense, this medium-level band piece plunges listeners into the chaos and urgency of a major emergency response. Siren-like motives, jagged rhythms, and sudden dynamic shifts evoke flashing lights, blaring horns, and split-second coordination under pressure. As tension rises and releases, the music mirrors the courage and resolve of first responders. A gripping, adrenaline-charged tribute that captures the intensity of rushing toward danger. 11686735 Band Set & Score . . M 110.00 Flight of the Ravens—Carol Brittin Chambers. Complete with sound effects made by umbrellas, this piece will leave your audience quietly contemplative. A piano soloist is paired beautifully with the ensemble for a haunting introduction and closing to this stunning work. 11615361 Band Set & Score . . . M 75.00 Flying Away—Yukiko Nishimura. A musical depiction of being able to fly like a bird to see loved ones and friends, this lyrical composition features soaring melodic lines and intertwined countermelodies. Delicate percussion helps to accentuate emotional moments while developing players' expressive abilities. A brief faster section contrasts with the initial lyrical theme before a return to the soaring, birdlike moments from the beginning. A moving and beautiful tribute to friends everywhere, this ballad is a great reflective moment for any concert or contest. 11399527 Band Set & Score . . . M 95.00 Easy and Fast!
