Certain to spark discussions about humanity, history, and culture, this piece can easily be performed alongside Moscow, 1941 or in place of it. All net proceeds of the initial release are going to relief organizations on the ground in Ukraine. 11396559 Full Orchestra . . . . .M 75.00 Land o' the Leal—arr. Dan Adams. A collector of folk tunes, Lady Nairne (Carolina Oliphant) undoubtedly chose the traditional Scottish air "Hey, Tuttie, Tattie" as the setting for her melancholy text because of its beauty and simplicity. Also known as the melody to Robert Burns' nationalistic "Scots Wha Hae", the folk tune has been part of Scottish life for centuries. Lady Nairne wrote her words upon the passing of the only child of her friend, Mrs. Archibald Campbell Colquhoun. In her setting, Land O' The Leal is a reference to heaven, where they will someday be reunited. This orchestral arrangement of the old Scottish tune hopes to capture the serenity and hopefulness of her poem. 11522115 Full Orchestra . . . . .M 70.00 Leviathan Rising—Joshua Reznicow. Inspired by the mythical sea monster Leviathan, an ancient creature said to rise from the ocean's depths to bring chaos and destruction. Complete with intense driving motives, sweeping lyrical lines, and a cinematic style reminiscent of Hollywood film scores, this piece is scored to be technically accessible to all sections of the intermediate orchestra. Sure to capture the imagination of performers and audiences alike while showing off the power of the orchestra. 11625555 Full Orchestra . . . M 130.00 Majestic Fields—Joshua Reznicow. Coming out of the 2020 pandemic when schools, ensembles, and music classes either rehearsed sporadically or not at all, the organizers of the Big 9 Festival in Austin, Minnesota wanted to commission a piece that would help celebrate the return to in-person learning and music making. 11520744 Full Orchestra . . . The many doublings in this intermediate work allow orchestras to play it with missing instrumentation. 10696520 Full Orchestra . . . . .M 65.00 Ned of the Hill (Eamon an Chnuic)—arr. Dan Adams.
