150 Handbell Music A Mighty Fortress Is Our Godarr. Kevin Stewart. Sharp, clever rhythms and bold harmonies, give new flavor to Martin Luther's sturdy hymn tune in this fresh setting. Mallets are used to stunning effect as a prevailing ostinato, while the high registers peal off the theme in a cool flare. A loving tribute to the standard chordal treatment peeks in to remind us of its majestic nature, but only briefly, before returning to the fanciful, malleted motif.
