H Amahl and the Night Visitors—Gian-Carlo
Menotti. Audiences for more than two generations
have been profoundly moved by the story of
Amahl, the crippled shepherd boy, and the visit of
the three Magi on their way to Bethlehem to visit
the Christ child. The vocal score requires a cast of
six, chorus parts may be performed separately as a
concert feature.
