FOLLOWER - II (John):
We had just returned to Jerusalem, and it was time to celebrate the Feast
of Unleavened Bread, the day when the Passover lamb must be
sacrificed. We were filled with fear for our Master, whom we loved.
We so desperately needed to be together to share this meal.

As we gathered at the table in that upper room, Jesus passed a loaf of
bread around. As we each broke some off and ate it, He said, "This is
my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me."
Then He did the same with a cup of wine, saying, "This is my blood,
which is poured out for you."
This had been a night that would never, ever be forgotten.
