FOLLOWER - V (Mary Magdalene):
As I heard the Savior cry, "It is finished," and saw Him breathe His last
breath, I thought it was the end—the end of all hope, the end of all that
is good. I followed numbly with the other women, as His lifeless body
was carried away and laid in the tomb. I cannot tell you what
desolation I felt.

And so I returned to the tomb on Sunday morning, only to find the
stone rolled from the entrance and Jesus' body gone. As I stood there,
with head bowed, weeping, I heard a voice speak my name, "Mary." I
looked up, and beheld Jesus, the Lamb of God, standing in front of me,
alive. Jesus had risen from the dead, just as He promised. I knew in
that moment, that I would follow the Lamb all the days of my life.
