hymn to arrange for band in honor of the life and influence of his
grandmother, who passed away in 2012. Moving from moments
of quiet beauty though hugely magnificent waves of sound, this
powerful arrangement is a great example of the expressiveness and
power that can be achieved by a fine concert band work. The final
statement of the hymn tune melody by a solo clarinet wraps up this
memorable hymn tune arrangement in a reverent, quiet way.

With its roots in based in Greek mythology, the story of the
labyrinth is told through sounds of winds and percussion.
The feeling of drama while navigating this incredible maze

ferocious race to the end and freedom.

Lament and Jig for Mickey—Gary P. Gilroy.
We don't know who Mickey was, but he must have been pretty
popular to have this awesome piece written in his memory. The
quiet and mournful lament opens, but the doesn't dwell very long
before moving into the lilting jig. Tuneful with colorful and varied
percussion, it quickly changes the mood and soon has everyone
swaying to the almost clock-like hypnotic allure.
