Bye Bye Blackbird—Dixon & Henderson/
arr. Dave Rivello.
Arranger Dave Rivello
arranged this great tune in a nice and easy,
relaxed, swing genre to showcase the 2nd trumpet
in the style of Miles Davis. Featuring the trademark
Miles' harmon mute sound throughout the chart,
Dave provides a written (or ad lib) solo, tasty
backgrounds and a very hip shout chorus for
medium level players. The arrangement is sensitive
to the quietness of the harmon muted trumpet
sound. Feature your young trumpet star on this
one and have a "cool" moment in your concert!
Highly recommended!

Feels So Good—Chuck Mangione/
arr. Victor Lopez.
Only rarely does a jazz tune
cross over to the pop charts the way this Chuck
Mangione classic did back in the seventies!

throughout with the distinctive melody and then
with a written or ad lib solo along with a tenor

tenor part as well. Victor's arrangement brings
this contemporary gem within the range of the

the hip appeal of the original. Here's a perennially
appealing, samba/rock chart that will provide
outstanding performance opportunities for your
band and soloist! Highly recommended!
