4 Like, I Like to Say Like—Pepper Choplin.
This novelty piece takes "like" to a hilarious
level, making fun of how often we use the word.
With options to feature a soloist or small group
of sopranos before all voice parts combine
into a polyphonic babble of "nothing" talk, this
Latin-rock style work lends itself well to simple
choreography. This is, like, a very cute novelty
piece about cliches in common speech! Highly
recommended!

4t A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad Madrigal—Kirby
Shaw. This is very funny! It's a mad, mad, mad,
mad madrigal indeed when the "fa-la-la's" get
mixed up with the "shoo-bee-doo-bee-doo's"
and the "rama-lama-ding-dong's!" Novelty
madrigals are rare, and this is the best one
available - it will have your audience in stitches!

Music's Echo—Greg Gilpin. A text by
Thomas Moore provides the inspiration for
this innovative a cappella piece, which uses
percussion accompaniment to create a magical
effect! It begins with a simple melody, then each
part joins with its own melody as the polyphonic
singing builds in a glorious tribute to music.
"How sweet the answer Echo makes to Music
at night, when, roused by lute or horn, she
wakes..." This may be used as a processional,
or it may be sung antiphonally by two or more
choirs. Parts for triangle or finger cymbals,
tambourine, mid/high drum and low drum are
included. Highly recommended!

This sensitive setting of Alfred Lord Tennyson's

the crimson petal, now the white; Nor waves the
cypress in the palace walk; Nor winks the gold
fin in the porphry font: The firefly wakens: waken
thou with me..." Highly recommended!
