our freedom and salvation. It recalls

with the Passover Lamb, a foretelling
of God's divine plan to provide the
Holy Lamb as the ultimate sacrifice for
our spiritual freedom. The despair of
Christ's crucifixion eventually gives way
to joy in a triumphant celebration of His
resurrection! Blending original melodies
with timeless hymns, Molly Ijames,
Lloyd Larson, and Jay Rouse combine
forces to create a compelling worship
experience and a dramatic reminder of
God's relentless love and grace. Titles

to the King of Israel; At the Lamb's High

The Easter

exaltation to the right hand of the
Father in a simple yet profound
story that engages the heart, mind,
and imagination. The musical score
draws upon folk sources, including
The Sacred Harp and The Columbian
Harmony, spirituals, carols, and songs
from English, Irish, and Hebrew
traditions. The choral score is carefully
crafted for choirs of all sizes and is
enhanced by three solos. Two speakers
share Ken Bible's compelling narrative,
which is beautifully underscored by
piano accompaniment or Michael
Lawrence's brilliant orchestration.

We Remember
Calvary
Joel Raney.
"We Remember Calvary" is a choral
work for Holy Week that uses both
traditional and contemporary hymns,
worship songs, congregational
singing, scripture reading and
narration to paint a vivid and
moving picture of Christ's last days
and his journey to the cross. The
overall tone is one of reflection and
worship. It uses the customary seven
candles in the sanctuary that are
darkened individually as the service
progresses. Congregational singing
is used on familiar tunes, with the
words provided as a reprintable
page on the score. The work can
be combined with communion, or
a devotional from your pastoral
staff. Very beautifully conceived and
presented by Joel Raney.
Duration: 35 minutes.
