& Joseph Martin. When it comes to jalapenos,
serranos, habaneros or chili peppers, some like
it hot, and some like it even hotter! This hilarious
novelty number blends the spicy sound of Rossini's
The Barber of Seville with a little Spanish flavor and
red-hot lyrics about peppers, salsa, and heartburn!
You might sing along on "I'm not regretting the
more I'm sweating" or be more inclined to sing
"Hot tabasco is a fiasco", but either way, everyone
gets to share in the fun. Just be sure to keep some
antacid handy when you perform this! "Caramba!"

the Yiddish theater also found popularity in the folk
movement of the 1960s after it was recorded
by Joan Baez. In this charming arrangement for

participation. Make the most of the dynamics and
phrasing to help tell the story of the calf on the way

arr. Andrew Fischer. Here is an
exuberant a cappella number that's
loaded with African atmosphere!
The traditional Zambian words
are sung throughout, with such
a buoyant rhythmic feel that you

of a native celebration. "Bonse
Aba" translates as "All that sing
have the right to be called the
children of God." The song is brief,
but may be repeated as many
times as desired. Various voicing
options are possible, and African
percussion may be added as the
piece progresses. Your choir will
definitely want to improvise some
celebratory whoops and shouts!
