Narrator 2: There were shepherds out in the nearby Judean hillsides keeping
watch over their flocks. Suddenly the dark night was split open as
an angel of the Lord appeared to them and the glory of God shone
around them. They were terrified!
Narrator 1: But the angel said, "Do not be afraid for I bring you good news of
great joy! Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you.
He is Christ the Lord."
Narrator 2: A great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel
praising God and proclaiming, "Glory to God in the highest heaven,
and on earth peace to all on whom His favor rests."
