A narrator uses the pieces of a nativity set as a vehicle to retell the story of the birth of Christ.
In each scene, a new piece is introduced and a different aspect of the story is highlighted.
In this drama, the set looks like an actual nativity set. As the narrator picks up each piece,
weaving the story, the character represented by the piece comes to life.
First, we meet a young shepherd who tells of strange lightening in the sky! Next, Mary speaks
of how the angel's announcement affected her and of her hopes for her new little One. Then a
relieved Joseph nervously talks of the new Baby and his role as Jesus' earthly father. Finally,
they all celebrate the arrival of the promised Son together. As we close, each character returns
to their original place, motionless and the nativity set is again complete. At last He is here!
What a wonderful way to experience the story!
