Aaron Copland's quintet from "The Tender Land"
translates beautifully into this setting for combined
chorus with band! Although it makes a perfect
choice for Thanksgiving, the wonderful vocal lines

The SATB choral part can stand alone, and offers
a piano 4 hands accompaniment. The optional
concert band accompaniment is at the medium
level and requires the choral part for performance.
It's a fantastic way to program music by a great

Solomon Sulzer combined the Viennese romantic
compositional style with traditional Hebrew
melodies to create a new form of Jewish liturgical
music. Along with his own compositions, he worked
with some of his musical colleagues of the time,
including Franz Schubert. Combined, these make
a beautiful concert setting or service music for
either Jewish or Christian worship. Includes: Segen
(Sulzer) and Tov L'Hodot (Schubert).
