Wynken, Blynken, and Nod
Greg Gilpin.
The delightful Eugene Field poem is a fantasy bedtime story about three
children sailing and fishing among the stars from a boat (which is a wooden
shoe), symbolizing a sleepy child's blinking eyes, nodding head and trundle
bed. Greg Gilpin's original music is rhythmic and up-tempo, reflecting the story
in a playful and wonderfully teachable way! Highly recommended!

Shaker song is now available in this accessible arrangement. Opening
a cappella and building to a powerful ending, it's an exciting concert opener.
There is some divisi in the final refrain as the "Sing on, dance on..." theme
grows to a delirious climax!

Who's That Knockin'?
Greg Gilpin.
Don't miss this extraordinary original a cappella spiritual! An insistent melody
opens the piece in unison, then fully develops with rhythmic syncopations,
varied choral textures, and dramatic dynamics. A challenging mixed-meter
section and a compelling descant build anticipation, then terraced dynamics set
up the final, powerful "Should I let him in?" Highly recommended!
