NARRATOR 1: And so our evening together has come to a close. Some Irish tales have been told, some memories shared, some songs sung, and the story of the birth of our Savior read once again.
NARRATOR 2: The fire of the Christmas
log on the hearth is now but embers. But the flame it represents – the Light of the World – will shine forever: warming hearts, lighting the way, welcoming all tired and weary travelers home.
NARRATOR 1: We leave you with an ancient Irish blessing. May it comfort and keep, you and yours, tonight and always.
