and orchestra, we find the essence of Vaughan-
Williams style and compositional mastery -
hallmarks of a richly productive artistic output
that defined a nationalist movement in music that
continues to this day. Centered on four traditional

You Worthy Gentlemen; On Christmas Night; and
There Is A Fountain; it also features fragments of
other well-known carol tunes.
