For Preview Only 26 THEO: MORRIS: THEO: CALEB: That must be because they're not fair. I see! Get it? Phar-I-See? (CALEB and MORRIS shake heads "no.") This is no time for joking! I need some help here! Are you ready to meet someone who might help you find your way? CUE COMPASS S.E. (S.E. TEAM) Morris! Listen! It's the compass! It's pointing THIS way! (MORRIS, CALEB cross to find next characters who enter.) TOUR GUIDE: Enters with sign that says THE LOST COIN. LEAH: CALEB: THEO: MORRIS: CALEB: LEAH: MORRIS: LEAH: (enters) Excuse me. I wonder if you can help me. I seem to have lost a coin. You lost a coin? Theo – this is just like the story that Jesus was telling! (to MORRIS) Maybe you can help her find the coin. Okay. Is it a special coin? There are other coins like it, but this one is a treasure to me! Hey, I know! I've got a coin right here in my pocket! (MORRIS offers her his coin.) You can have this one! (LEAH holds up the coin to the light, shakes her head, and hands it back to MORRIS.) Thank you, but I don't think you understand – I'm looking for the coin that was lost! Nothing can replace it, and I won't stop until I find it! (Enter LOST COIN TEAM) SONG: THE LOST COIN 7 / 25 A LITTLE DIRECTION: This song gives you the opportunity to involve a Lost Coin Team. They could perform special movements with brooms, dust rags, and lamps to accompany the song. You could also give students optional rhythm parts with small maracas, pitched bells or chimes, and hand drums. Want more direction? Digital Teacher Resource Kit is available at www.openheartmusicals.com. I'll play along. Ma'am, could you describe the coin?
