Hey, I know! I've got a coin right here in my pocket! (MORRIS offers her his coin.) You can have this one!
(LEAH holds up the coin to the light, shakes her head, and hands it back to MORRIS.) Thank you, but I don't think you understand – I'm looking for the coin that was lost! Nothing can replace it, and I won't stop until I find it!

A LITTLE DIRECTION: This song gives you the opportunity to involve a Lost Coin Team. They could perform special movements with brooms, dust rags, and lamps to accompany the song. You could also give students optional rhythm parts with small maracas, pitched bells or chimes, and hand drums.
