Hope was in the air . . . that is until the large crowd of soldiers and officials surprised us, who were sent by the chief priest to arrest Him in a garden. Jesus was just praying in the garden . . . praying so fervently to His Heavenly Father that His sweat became like drops of blood flowing upon the ground. Who was among this crowd that interrupted this prayer, but Judas! What a betrayer. He approached Jesus with a kiss to identify Him. The soldiers arrested Him, though Jesus had the power to escape. He went willingly, knowing it would fulfill the prophesies. Jesus was dragged from one illegal trial to another.
