NARRATOR: (meas. 2) Who is Jesus? To those close to him he was a loving, devoted friend. To
others, he was a man of compassion, healing the broken and comforting the afflicted. During his last
week in Jerusalem, Jesus gathered with his twelve apostles to share the Passover meal. Knowing he
would soon be leaving, he assured them that he was going to prepare a place for them – a table in
heaven where they would once again share the bread and the cup – for all eternity.
