Back to the Beginning—Daniel Semsen.
With songs that your kids will love, this musical
is the perfect vehicle for engaging your kids
in the story of creation. The scene opens
up at a rustic campground in the mountains
when a few campers hear a strange sound.
Norman, the camp counselor, recognizing
the all-too-familiar sound, leaves the group
to investigate and finds Finn, a good kid who
has been spending too much time with the
rebellious Rigsby brothers, and the H.O. 2000
Time Machine. Wanting to impress his two new
"friends," Finn had activated the machine and
lost the Rigsby brothers... back in the Garden
of Eden! Ready to embark on an unplanned
adventure, the campers go back in time to
find the lost boys and end up visiting the same
campsite in 2000, 1995, 1978, 1955, 1808, and
finally, making it all the way back to Creation!

Faith Hall of Fame (A Children's Musical)—
Ruth Elaine Schram & Linda Marcus.
This musical spotlights six Old Testament
heroes: Abraham, Joseph, Miriam, Moses,
David, and Esther. Versatile narrations (suitable
to be performed by one child or many children)
and optional dramatic roles will bring these
stories to life and teach children that faith is
the cornerstone of our lives. Each inductee is
introduced with biblical narrations in rhyme
followed by a song for each character. Optional
present-day scenarios are also included, which
can be used in place of or in addition to the
biblical narration (i.e., present-day Miriam is
a terrified pre-teen faced with her first baby-
sitting job; present-day David is a small child
confronted daily with the school bully). Most
of the musical is written for unison voices with
only an occasional optional second part.
NOTE: This is a non-reproducible musical,
so one score is needed for each child, plus for
director and accompanist.

ancient Babylon reached through an online
virtual-reality game! Join the clue-hunting kids as
the Biblical story literally - or virtually - comes to
life with Daniel in a den of lions, Hebrew boys in
a fiery furnace, and some mysterious handwriting
on the wall. Cool songs with fun and funny dialog
help bring to life this chronicle of faith in the one
true God who delivers, and point to the ultimate

More Power to You!
(Finding Our Strength in God)—
Kimberly Ingram & Joe Milton/arr. Joe
Milton. Alex was an ordinary kid with ordinary
problems. But one day, a bigger than ordinary
problem appeared. This mountain of a
challenge was GITOP: A Gigantic, Intimidating,
Troublesome, Overwhelming Problem! We all
face these types of problems. Where do we
find strength to face them? The Bible stories of
Joshua, Peter, and the house on the rock might
give us a few clues. This musical is a terrific fit
for fine arts camps and regular choirs. Children
use teamwork and creativity to invent lines,
movement, sound effects, and props. Each
Bible story is a play within a play, allowing small
groups to rehearse independently. Everyone
memorizes scripture, learns classic hymns, and
discovers how God gives us power to face our
problems. 44 minutes.
