Lights come up. Now the audience can see the decorated tree on stage. NARRATOR: Happy to have found his beloved tinsel, and placing it upon the tree for decoration, Larry sings: LARRY: [singing as he places tinsel on the tree; children on stage actually begin to place tinsel (and lots of it – to the point of ridiculousness) on the" live" Christmas tree, as they sing along with Larry]: KIDS and LARRY: Oh, here, is my/your tinsel! Oh, here, is my/your tinsel! Oh, where? Back there! Now here, now here, now here, now here, now here, now here, now heeeeeere….is my/your tinsel!! Oh, here, is my/your tinsel! Oh, here, is my/your tinsel! Oh, where? Back there! Now here, now here, now here, now here, now here, now here, now heeeeeere….is my/your tinsel!! (Yeah! All right! It's found! etc.) (End DVD segment) Kids go back to their places. NARRATOR: (laughing and out of breath) Well, I see we all have some great ideas about what we need to put in our Incredible, Gigantic, Humongous Christmas Show. But, we didn't even get to the BEST part of Christmas, yet. KIDS: (all together) The BEST part of Christmas?!! NARRATOR: Yes! Jesus! {DVD video comes up while lights go down on stage. Children turn and watch the video; Junior Asparagus quotes the Christmas story) Junior Asparagus: So Joseph went up from the town of Nazareth to Bethlehem. He went there with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a Child. While they were there, the time came for the Baby to be born. She wrapped Him in cloths and placed Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn. And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. And an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and they were terrified! But the angel said, "Don't be afraid. I bring you Good News of great joy that will be for all people. For today in the town of David a Savior has been born unto you. He is Christ the Lord." (DVD off) NARRATOR: I think Junior "gets" the BEST part of Christmas. Our gigantic, humongous Christmas show isn't anything without the most important Gift of all! We need an extra special scene for our finale! What do you say, kids?
