Good News The number can be elaborately choreographed, or movement can be kept simple with rocking and hand gestures that suggest a gospel choir. At measures 26 through 41 and 42 through 57, the words tell two stories that can be "acted" by Paul and a few cast members standing apart from the rest of the cast—first on stage right, then on stage left. The focus should be on Paul throughout, and during measures 58 through 73, he can stand on a box and "preach" or even move from box to box to preach. Paul's Shipwreck This is a song that tells a story, and most of the necessary action and movement are already included in the text. The cast forming the "sea of pom-poms" can be choreographed with different hand movements, especially during the "Rumble, Rumble, Crash, Crash" sections. Romans 8 When Storyteller 7 says, "And so Paul was able to continue his journey to Rome," the rest of the cast should start moving quietly to new positions forming a stage picture that projects quiet confidence. When the song begins, all stand and sing with great sincerity and focus Good News Reprise Have fun! The Story of Noah and the Great Flood Begin where you see the title, "The Story of Noah and the Great Flood," with Storyteller 3 at a microphone on stage right, and Storyteller 4 at a microphone on stage left. The rest of the cast stand in the middle of the stage with their backs to the audience. In place of Sailor 1 announcing the story, Storyteller 4 can announce it by saying "The story of Noah and the Great Flood" from the stage left microphone. Then perform the rest of the script and score as written up to the end of the song, "The Promise." The Story of Jonah and the Great Fish Begin at the title for this story, with Storyteller 5 at the microphone on stage right, and Storyteller 6 on the microphone on stage left. The rest of the cast are settled into a stage picture upstage. In place of Sailor 1 announcing the story, Storyteller 5 can announce it by saying, "The Story of Jonah and the Great Fish." Perform the rest of the script and score as written till the next title, "The Story of Paul's Shipwreck." The Story of Paul's Shipwreck Begin at the title for this story, with Storyteller 7 at the stage right microphone, and Storyteller 8 at the stage left microphone. The rest of the cast are seated upstage. In place of Sailor 1 announcing the story, Storyteller 8 can announce it by saying, "The Story of Paul's Shipwreck." Perform the rest of the script and score as written till the end of the song, "Romans 8." Performing Each Story Separately For Preview Only
