What if you found a Holst work for strings that
no one has played before? Well, here it is! This
wonderful collection of Scottish airs was originally
for string quartet and piano, and has been faithfully
transcribed for string orchestra and optional piano.
Technically easier than the St. Paul Suite, but with
a similar feel, Seven Scottish Airs is the perfect
introduction to the music of Holst.
