Narr. 1:
Narr. 2:
In the silence, Jesus' disciples remembered.
Narr. 2:
Narr. 1:
(Narration and Piano Underscore)
They remembered talking of thrones and kingdoms while Jesus spoke of a
cross. They remembered going into Jerusalem singing while Jesus wept.
They remembered how he knelt to wash their feet, how they just couldn't
understand. And then, they remembered his love.
This One – the true Bread from Heaven – showed them the full extent of his
love. He offered himself. The choice was made. He laid down his life and
became the bridge to the Father. This was love.
On the night he was betrayed, their last night together, Jesus broke the bread
and said to his disciples, "This is my body, which is given for you...(pause)...
remember." Then he took the cup and said, "This is my blood poured out for
you...(pause)...remember."
