Up to the Hills I Lift My Eyes
Normand Gouin.
In this very useful anthem, the composer's own metrical version of Psalm 121
is set for two-part mixed voices, with the option for the congregation to join
in for one or more verses. Changing meters, judicious chromaticism, and the
lyrical rise and fall of the melody make this accessible piece satisfying to sing,
with a modulation and descant adding a bit of drama to the final verse.
A reproducible congregation page is included.

Walk in Light
Karen Marrolli.
Here is a message of peace expressed through soothing, peaceful
music. The part for violin, oboe or clarinet is reserved for the middle of
the piece and carries the
DIVINUM MYSTERIUM tune, later echoed by the
choir. The folk-like original music weaves seamlessly with the ancient
melody before coming to a delicate close. Reproducible instrumental
parts are included. Highly recommended!
