the word "singing" through rhythmic and chordal
punctuation, and through use of the Singing Bell
technique, in this perfect choice for any worship
service. Both versions of the tune are used:
Robert Lowry's original lyric version in 3/4 meter,
which uses plenty of LV and the optional use of
handchimes; and the more contemporary version
which is written in a rhythmic, energetic 4/4 meter,
employs the use of malleted bells, and features
the hymn tune played in a round. Editions for 2-3
octaves and 3-5 octaves are available, and they are
compatible for massed ringing.
