Fall River Road—Morgan Denney. Depicting
a scenic drive up the historic first road in Rocky
Mountain National Park, this highly accessible work
for beginning orchestra features the notes of the D
major scale. 3/4 meter time is reinforced along with
dynamics, simple repeating eighth notes, and slight
ritard. Violin 2 and viola are doubled throughout.
There is some brief melodic and rhythmical
