Adam Burnette. One of Hahn's more successful French art songs for solo voice, this lyrical piece from 1916 is freshly set in three-part harmony for treble choirs with piano accompaniment. Trying to find a way to support the families of the victims of a tragic accident, the composer wrote this comforting choral piece. Based on the poem Immortality, also known as Do Not Stand by My Grave and Weep, the first section is a solemn setting of the text. The melancholy mood slowly lightens, and the initial grief is replaced by a more optimistic energy. In a moment of remembrance, the choir reminds us that our lost loved ones can be found everywhere in nature, and we should not cry, for they are not there, they did not die. This selection is a comforting and uplifting setting of the poem To F.W. by Edith Franklin Wyatt, which describes the joy of growing old with a companion. It was premiered by the choir of Nazareth College, New York at a concert specifically for individuals living with Alzheimer's or other dementias and their families and caregivers. Alongside the flowing lyrical melodies is a simple vocal part that can be taught to audience members who may be encouraged to join in when it occurs. 11415040 SSAA . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 3.65 Dream—David T. Blanchard & Randy Kartchner/ arr. Randy Kartchner & Masa Fukuda. "Come with me and dream, putting all the tragedy behind you, letting hope and joy remind you to become the one who finds you when you dream." This inspirational song was made popular by the One Voice Children's Choir on YouTube and is now available to all treble choirs in their exact choral arrangement and instrumental backing track. A setting of a poem by Nikki Giovanni that focuses on a young person's desire to play first chair. Rollo Dilworth. A powerful new setting of this traditional spiritual for treble voices. South African composer Franco Prinsloo brings us this beautiful setting of a sacred text in the Afrikaans language for treble choirs. A lyrical melody with a flowing piano accompaniment gives the opportunity to explore phrasing and musical sensitivity.
