Inspired by the many Wild West soundtracks and feature films, mainly cartoons and animated films, the composer tells his own story in music. The piece "A Journey to the West" tells of the bravery, courage, but also the innocence of a hero in spite of himself. After a baroque and majestic opening imposing on us the atmosphere of this typical American setting, a rapid gallop of bass and percussion brings us the theme of our hero. Lively, light, carefree, it makes the horns and saxophones roar, then taken up by the woodwinds and trumpets. If the melody is light, the atmosphere quickly becomes heavier, a shadow flies over the city! Beware! 11622354 Band Set & Score . . . . 128.00 Lacuna—Henry Dorn. Meaning a blank space or a missing part, a gap, "lacuna" comes from the Latin word lacus, or lake, pool, or pit. In this piece, it refers to the gap in knowledge that our educators help fill in their students. 11605323 Band Set & Score . . . . 200.00
