The theme, Finding Your Voice, is based on Ephesians 4:15, "We will speak the truth with love. We will grow up in every way to be like Christ." The phrase "finding your voice" has become an expression that refers to discovering who we are, what we value, and what we want to communicate to the world. God desires that we "find our voice" as we discover who we are in Christ and become the unique individuals God created us to be. Through this music curriculum, children will grow in faith and confidence as they learn what it means to find and use their voices to worship and praise God, pray, encourage and speak words of kindness, speak up for those who need help, and share the Good News of Jesus. Each 15-week unit for Elementary children (grades 1-6) includes fun, creative songs and activities (including seasonal), hymns, warm-ups and energizers, demonstration and accompaniment recordings, KIDPages, teaching steps for all materials, and colorful visuals. Fall releases in June; Spring releases in November.
