Judas: is Judas. As soon as they condemned Him
My name
this morning, I recognized my guilt in the Lord's death.
I was weak and greedy, and handed Him to the chief
priests for thirty pieces of silver. Almost immediately,
I was ashamed and attempted to return the money. I
told them, "I have sinned for I have betrayed innocent
blood." "What is that to us?" they replied. "That is your
responsibility." In my heart, I knew they were right; I
tossed the money at them and left. What I did was an act
of treason; I might as well have driven the first nail into
His hands.
