NARRATION:
Consider this scene from the gospel of Matthew:
After Jesus was born in Judea, Magi from the East came seeking the One
who was born King of the Jews. They had seen His star arise in the night
sky; and being scholars in prophecy, they realized this was a sign of great
significance. With great joy, they followed the star till it came to rest
over the place where the Child lived. They entered the house, and saw
the Child with His mother Mary, and bowed down in humble adoration.
With deep devotion and profound reverence, they presented Him with
precious gifts and treasures, including gold, frankincense and myrrh.
Even more, they brought hearts, filled with worship and praise.
