Original Concert Works very easy
n KonekoKeiko Yamada. Koneko uses a simple
pentatonic tune to depict the innocent and playful
nature of a little kitten. The piece uses very limited
musical and technical material for the players.
The pentatonic tune begins with the first violins
only, and then the tutti orchestra. A secondary
theme is added with the celli taking the lead line.
Different variations of the main tune are developed,
and the lower strings get a chance with some
important melodic material. A spectacular piece
for beginners!
