Dave Barduhn. There's nothing like a hard-driving blues piece to kick off a program and this one really fits the bill! Solid and authentic-sounding ensemble writing provides an exceptional foundation for this rock guitar solo feature! Guitar City explodes from the first guitar power chord behind a rhythmic horn section intro right into the melodic verse-verse-chorus- improvisation format. The easy B-flat major pentatonic scale means there's no such thing as a wrong note for the rising star guitarist, and the guitar part includes tablature for licks with appropriate slides, hammer-ons, pull-offs, and chord shape/performance suggestions. Playable with optional reduced instrumentations, this is an outstanding chart for maturing bands who want to rock the house! 10518273 Jazz Ensemble . . . . . . . . . . 48.00 n House of the Rising Sunarr. Paul Clark. You'll hear this arrangement a lot because your band will ask to play it again and again. After a slow and bluesy introduction featuring solo alto and piano, a new tempo is set and the high-energy rock begins. This chart doesn't just cook, it nukes! The powerful and safe ensemble writing leads to an open solo section for any instrument over basically just one chord. Then a key change from E-flat to F sets up a big finish. What began as a folk song about New Orleans becomes a hard-driving rock chart in this easy-to-play arrangement that your band and audiences will love! 10311489 Jazz Ensemble . . . . . . . . . . 48.00 I Want You Backarr.
