This cookin' chart is tuneful, funky and is set in a half-time feel. Interesting material is well distributed throughout the various instrumental families, the parts are well articulated, the ranges are reasonable, and the rhythm section parts are notated with chords symbols provided. A modulation heightens the excitement, and it's playable with optional reduced or expanded instrumentations. This great chart on a Cannonball Adderley classic cooks at around 170 bpm.
