composer Jeff Jarvis composed this tuneful funk
chart entitled Backdraft. This medium-level chart
has all the characteristics of Jarvis' best-selling

School and Mohave Breakdown, and alternates
between 3/4 and 4/4 funk feels. Infectious piano
comping, punchy bass lines, and fun single-note
guitar comping support the catchy melody. The solo
section has accessible chord changes provided for
alto sax, tenor sax, baritone sax, trumpet, and
trombone. Guitar or piano can also join the solo
order if desired. As in most of Jarvis' offerings,
