A couple of goats continued to chew hay, Some birds in the rafters rustled While peeping sleepily from under their wings. And in spite of what sweet carols say about "No crying He makes," The baby must have cried. That is how babies communicate. She picked Him up Held Him to her breast and fed Him. The old cow lowed Because she knew how good it was To feed your baby. And the Baby drifted off to sleep. Did He dream? Could He dream yet? And if He did, did He dream of God, Tomorrow, His mother, What His life would be? With His blurred, new vision What else could he see? For Preview Only
