NARRATOR:
And yet again we tell this story
Full of shepherds, searchers from the east and angelic glory.
We tell of this Child who grew to be a Man
And became our liberator, our Savior.
It contains such joy
That we cannot restrain the music,
The song,
The dance of delight.
It erupts from us like laughter –
Even the tragic parts
Where rough hewn planks in a primitive manger
Hint of a rough-hewn cross
On a hill far away.
We tell the same story over and over
Yet it always sounds new,
Too good to be true,
But it is!
Go tell them that Jesus Christ is born!
