Reader #1: When Joseph found that Mary was with child, He tried to call their marriage off. But then An angel came and spoke within a dream, And said: "Fear not! Take Mary as your bride. The child she carries is the Son of God, Who comes to save all people from their sin."
Reader #2: Joseph obeyed. But when the time arrived For Jesus to be born, a great decree Proclaimed that everyone must now return To his hometown, to pay the Roman tax. So Joseph, who was of King David's line, Took Mary, great with child, to Bethlehem.
