Words and Music by
TONY WOOD, NICK ROBERTSON
and ALLIE LAPOINTE
Arranged by Cliff Duren
(spoken dry) Hundreds of years would pass between the prophetic
words of Isaiah and the angel Gabriel's visitation to a young Jewish
girl named Mary. Even though she would almost certainly have been
familiar with the Old Testament writings, she could not have imagined
that God would choose her to bear His only begotten Son. (music begins
to "Call His Name Jesus") The words of the angel came with incredible
hope and promise. ". . . You have found favor with God. You will
conceive and give birth to a son, and you will call His name Jesus."*
