NARRATOR :
On a quiet night in Bethlehem, the appointed time had arrived;
a fulfillment of heavenly destiny; a birth that would give life
to the world; and a heartbeat of hope that would cause the
Heavens to resound with joyous celebration.
(music to "Miracle in a Manger" begins)
A manger that had been used to nourish animals now held the
Bread of Life for all mankind…the Word became flesh, suspended
between Heaven and earth in a simple, lowly manger.
